OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Athletics announced today that four hockey games will be televised live on NET, Nebraska's PBS.
The Mavericks will first appear on NET on Saturday, Oct. 20 when they host current No. 2, Notre Dame, at 7:07 p.m. The Fighting Irish were national runners up last season.
Other games on the NET schedule include Friday, Nov. 2 against Miami; and Friday and Saturday, Feb. 1-2 against Western Michigan.
The addition of the games on NET gives the Mavericks 14 televised hockey games this season. They will appear on Cox YurView in Omaha on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 18-19 against North Dakota and again on March 8-9 at North Dakota.
The Mavericks have three road games on Fox Sports North this season as well. On Friday, Dec. 7, their game at St. Cloud State will be shown on FSN+ while the game at SCSU on Saturday, Dec. 8, will air on FSN. Their game at Minnesota Duluth on Saturday, Jan. 26 also will be shown on FSN+.
The Mavericks have three nationally-televised games this season. They will appear on CBS Sports Network, the premier television partner of the NCHC, on Friday, Oct. 19, when they host Notre Dame. Other games on CBSSN include Friday, Jan. 11 at Denver and Friday, Feb. 8 at Miami.
Omaha opens regular season play on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 12-13, at Union of ECAC Hockey. Both games begin at 6 p.m. CT from Schenectady, N.Y.
