Dakota Realty Alumni Meet Next Up For Mavericks

OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha track & field team travels to Vermillion, S.D. for the Dakota Realty Alumni Meet hosted by South Dakota on Saturday. The meet is scheduled to start at 1:45 p.m.
The Mavericks are coming off the Jack Johnson Classic Minnesota past weekend.
Stephanie Ahrens nabbed second place in the high jump, clearing 5 feet 8 inches (1.73 meters).
Lauren Houston ran a season-best time in the 800 meter in 2:16.22, finishing third.
Alyssa Averhoff took ninth and Willa Koenig finished 11th in the 3,000 meter, clocking in at 10:29.17 and 10:29.92, respectively. Emily Johnson ran a new personal best for the event in 10:34.51, eight seconds faster than her previous PR. She finished 12th.
Sasha Quattlebaum set a new personal best in the triple jump by more than a foot at 36 feet 5.5 inches (11.11 meters).
In the weight throw, Anna Edet finished 19th with a mark of 53 feet 10.25 inches (16.41 meters). Megan Adams moved up on the all-time performance list with a toss of 49 feet 9.25 inches (14.96 meters), ranking ninth all-time at UNO. The mark is also a personal best.
Following the meet at USD, the Mavericks will be in Brookings, S.D. for the South Dakota State Classic on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 9-10.
