Softball’s Matchup Against Creighton Rescheduled

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha softball team has rescheduled its game against Creighton – initially scheduled for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18 – because of cold weather. The Mavericks and the Bluejays will now play on Thursday, April 26 at 6 p.m. at the Creighton Sports Complex.
Next Thursday's game will mark the first meeting between Omaha and Creighton during the regular season since 1995.
Omaha returns to Summit League play this weekend against Western Illinois in Macomb, Ill. The Mavericks and the Fighting Leathernecks will play a doubleheader starting at Noon on Saturday, followed by a single game on Sunday at 11 a.m.
