Summitt Inks Two Signees for 2018-19

OMAHA, Neb. – Head coach Adam Summitt announced Friday that Ines Absisan and Justine Linscott have signed National Letters of Intent to join the Omaha women's tennis program in 2018-19.
INES ABSISAN
Absisan, a native of Brussels, Belgium, plays club tennis for T.C. Odrimont. She achieved an ITF ranking of 1,193rd and was 93rd nationally in Belgium.
"I am very excited that Ines chose Omaha to continue her academic and athletic career," Summitt said. "She is a great player who will have a lot of potential when she arrives. She is a great fit for our program, and she has a bubbly personality and a drive to be better on and off the court. I believe she'll make an impact right away next year."
JUSTINE LINSCOTT
Linscott has been a four-year letterwinner for Coach Christopher Stock at Lincoln East High School. As a junior, she was an all-state selection and won a state championship at No. 2 singles, all while helping her team to a state runner-up finish. During that season, Linscott went 29-2 in singles play and a perfect 10-0 in doubles. During her senior campaign, she has gone 25-0 from the No. 1 doubles position and 5-0 in singles play.
Linscott also is a standout academically, ranking in the top three percent of her class. She is a member of the honor roll and the National Honor Society and was an academic all-state selection in 2017.
"Justine has quickly made a name for herself," Summitt said. "She just recently started focusing on tennis, and she has gone from no experience at all to being ranked among the best in Nebraska, including winning a state title within three years.
"Justine has a love and passion for the game and being part of a team. With her selfless attitude, I know she will succeed here, and I'm excited to have the opportunity to work with her."
