Pattison Named NFCA All-Region

OMAHA, Neb. ā Omaha senior Kelly Pattison was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Midwest Region Third Team today, the organization announced.
Pattison had an outstanding season for the Mavericks during her senior campaign, leading the team with a .415 batting average, .667 slugging percentage, .459 on-base percentage, eight home runs and 36 RBI. Ā Pattison's .415 average led the Summit League this season, which made her the first player in program history to lead the league in batting.
The Lockport, Ill., native earned First Team All-Summit League honors this season.
The NFCA awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's ten regions with first, second and third-team selections. NFCA member coaches from each respective region voted on the teams, and all the honorees now become eligible for selection to the 2018 NFCA Division I All-American squads.
The 2018 NFCA Division I All-America teams will be announced at approximately 4 p.m. CT on Wednesday, May 30, via NFCA.org.
