DeBonville Garners Second Team All-Summit Honor

ELMHURST, Ill. – Omaha junior outfielder Thomas DeBonville was named to the All-Summit League Second Team for the 2018 regular season, it was announced Tuesday.
The transfer from Eastern Arizona College started and appeared in 47 games in his debut season as a Maverick, batting .259 with five doubles, four triples, six home runs and team highs of 37 runs scored and 29 RBI. His 49 hits for the year were second-most on the team.
DeBonville also led the league in stolen bases (21) and tied for the league lead for triples. The Silverthorne, Colo., native ranked sixth for home runs and 11th in RBI and slugging percentage.
"Thomas had a nice season for us," head coach Evan Porter said. "He is a complete player on both offense and defense. He was tremendous in the outfield this season and is well deserving of this recognition."
