OMAHA, Neb. – Sophomore infielder Emma Dargy was named to the 2018 Summit League Softball Academic All-League Team, the conference office announced Wednesday.
Dargy had a .273 batting average this season with 20 runs scored, six doubles, seven home runs and 19 RBI. She also had seven multi-hit and five multi-RBI games.
Dargy, a computer science major, carries a 4.00 grade-point average. She is a member of the Summit League's Academic Honor Roll, as well as the UNO Chancellor's and Dean's List.
To be eligible for The Summit League Academic All-League Team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions. The Softball Academic All-League Team is made up of the nine student-athletes receiving the most votes.
