Mavericks to Face South Dakota at Sanford Pentagon

OMAHA, Neb. -- The Omaha men's basketball program's second league game against South Dakota, set for Feb. 7, 2019, will be played at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Tipoff is set for 7 p.m., and single-game ticket sales will begin at a later date through the Pentagon Box Office.
"The Pentagon has hosted many great events, and we look forward to playing in this first-class venue," head coach Derrin Hansen said. "I appreciate Coach (Todd) Lee extending this opportunity to us. It will be a wonderful experience for our team and fans."
The 3,250-seat Pentagon has played host to nearly two dozen Division I men's basketball games since opening in 2013, as well as multiple NCAA Championship events. It also serves as the home of the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA G League. The Pentagon's main Heritage Court features design elements reminiscent of 1950s and 1960s basketball venues.
Omaha returns six letterwinners from its 2017-18 squad, including All-Summit selection Zach Jackson.
