OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's golf team returns to play at the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial at Missouri State on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 10-11 in Springfield, Mo.

The field of 15 teams will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday beginning each day at 8:30 a.m. at the Twin Oaks Country Club.

The Mavericks opened the fall season with an eighth-place finish at their own UNO Invitational on Aug. 31-Sept. 1 at ArborLinks. Senior Jordan York led the team with a 54-hole score of 236, good for a tie for 20th in the field of 59 golfers.

Samantha Chong (245/38th), Mandy Boyle (247/41st), Hannah Hunke (251/T-45th) and Zora Gittens (251/T-45th) also contributed to the team scoring. Sami Langford, playing as an individual, shot 255 to tie for 53rd.

All six players will be competing at Missouri State.

Following the tournament, the Mavericks will be back in action the next week at the Loyola Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 17-18, at Flossmoor, Ill.
