Sullivan Collects Rookie of the Week Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Omaha hockey forward Nolan Sullivan has been named the Bauer NCHC Rookie of the Week for his efforts last weekend against Wisconsin.
It is the second straight week a Maverick freshman has picked up the award.
Sullivan led the Mavericks in scoring with three points during a split with No. 12 Wisconsin at home. In Friday's opener, Sullivan scored his first collegiate goal on two shots and finished +1 in a 5-2 loss.
The following night, Sullivan had two assists, registering each one in the third period to help the Mavericks turn a 3-2 lead into a 5-2 win over the Badgers. The native of Eden Prairie, Minn. was +1 again and had four shots on goal.
The No. 19 Mavericks play their first conference games this weekend, visiting No. 20 Western Michigan on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 15-16.
