OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha men's golf team returns to the course on Monday and Tuesday, March 4-5, at the Sacramento State Invitational.

The tournament features two rounds on Monday and the final round on Tuesday at the Valley-Hi Country Club in Elk Grove, Calif. Play begins at 10:30 a.m. CT each day.

The Mavericks last played on Feb. 16-17, finishing 16th at The Invitational at Savannah Harbor in Georgia with a score of 905. The event was hosted by William and Mary.

Witchayapat Sinsrang was Omaha's top scorer with a total score of 223. He finished in a tie for 29th in the field of 95 golfers from 18 teams.

Nick Kagy shot 225 which was good for second on the team and a tie for 43rd overall. He was two strokes ahead of teammate Cole Christain who finished at 227 to tie for 54th.

Thirawat Chantrakantanond put up a score of 230, good for a tie for 77th, and Kellen Rossman finished the scoring for the Mavericks with a score of 240.

Following play at Sacramento State, the Mavericks will be off until taking part in the Grand Canyon Invitational on Friday and Saturday, March 15-16, in Phoenix, Ariz.
