Jackson Named to NABC All-District 12 First Team

OMAHA, Neb. -- Senior guard Zach Jackson was named to the 2018-19 NABC All-District 12 First Team, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced Thursday. All-district teams are determined by a vote of member coaches of the NABC.
Jackson was Omaha's leading scorer for the second straight season in his senior campaign, averaging 18.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 0.8 steals per game. A first-team All-Summit selection, Jackson ranked fourth in the league for scoring, total points, field goals made and free throws made, and he scored in double figures in all but two games. He finished his career as just the second Maverick in program history to pass both 1,500 points and 500 rebounds.
Jackson is Omaha's second all-district selection in the Division I era, joining second-team honoree Devin Patterson (2015-16).
