Mavericks Finish Regular Season at Nebraska

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha men's golf team will wrap up regular season play at the one-day Git-R-Done Husker Invitational on Saturday, April 13.
The Mavericks will be one of six teams playing 36 holes at the Firethorn Golf Club in Lincoln beginning at 9 a.m. Other participants include Nebraska, Arkansas, Creighton, Drake and South Dakota State.
This will be the Mavericks' final event before taking part in the Summit League Championship at Newton, Kan. on Sunday-Tuesday, April 28-30.
Omaha last played on Tuesday in the final round of the Ryman Hospitality Intercollegiate hosted by Lipscomb in Nashville, Tenn. The Mavericks finished in a tie for ninth in the 15-team field with a 36-hole score of 599. The tournament was shortened by 18 holes due to weather.
Witchayapat Sinsrang led the team in scoring with a total score of 146 to tie for 19th in the field of 87 golfers.
Nick Kagy was second on the team and tied for 26th with a total score of 149. He was one stroke ahead of teammate Thirawat Chantrakantanond who closed at 150, good for a tie for 30th.
Cole Christain put up a total of 155, putting him in a tie for 57th. Sam Musch closed the scoring for the Mavericks with a final tally of 156.
