OMAHA, Neb. -- The Omaha men's basketball team will visit Creighton in a regular-season matchup on Tuesday, Dec. 1, it was announced Tuesday.
The matchup will be the 44th regular-season meeting all-time between the crosstown programs and their first regular-season game since Nov. 30, 1995. It also marks their first game as Division I competitors.
The two teams met most recently in exhibition on Oct. 26, 2017 for a charity game that benefited the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund.
"Our players and staff look forward to the opportunity to visit Creighton," head coach Derrin Hansen said. "It should be a game that garners a lot of interest in the Omaha basketball community, and it will serve as a great measuring stick for our team early in the 2020-21 season."
Omaha's complete 2020-21 schedule has yet to be finalized. Additional dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
