Letters From Home: Phoomintr Kaewvichien

Dear Omaha,
I moved back to my home in Bangkok, Thailand when things got pretty crazy during the spread of coronavirus. When I got back home, I had to self-quarantine for 14 days. It sounded hard but during quarantine I spent a lot of time doing homework. After quarantine, I spent a lot of time with my family at home. I also did some golf swing practice in my backyard. Everything was starting to open back up in the beginning of May.
When all the classes moved online, at first it was tough. Everything was a lot harder, and reaching the professor was a little bit different than before. I used to talk with the professor person to person. By moving all the sections online, reaching the professor had to be by e-mail. As time passed, I was used to online classes and figured things out.

I really miss all the tournaments that have been cancelled. I also miss my teammates and how we used to practice together. It was tough that this season was cancelled, but we are not giving up yet. We must keep our head up and get ready for the upcoming season to do our best.
