Dargy Earns Third Academic All-Summit Honor

OMAHA, Neb. ā Senior Emma Dargy has been named to the 2020 Summit League Academic All-League Team, the league office announced Wednesday. Dargy was among nine student-athletes selected to this year's team, which is based on academic and athletic performances this past season.
Dargy was one of two players who are repeat honorees while garnering her third Academic All-Summit award.
The La Vista, Neb., native carries a 3.97 grade-point average while majoring in computer science and was named to the 2020 Academic All-District 7 First Team earlier this month.
In her senior campaign, Dargy hit .309 with seven homers and 23 RBI while starting all 24 games for the Mavericks. Dargy opened the season collecting Summit League Player of the Week accolades in back-to-back weeks.
