Eckout Named Academic All-League

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Senior third basemen Breyden Eckhout earned Academic All-League honors for his efforts on the diamond and in the classroom.
The Amherst, Neb., native carried a 3.76 GPA as a kinesiology major for his first-career honor. Through a shortened season, Eckhout posted a .280 batting average, a .360 slugging percentage and a .333 on-base percentage. He tallied 14 hits, eight runs, four doubles and three RBI through 13 games.
The Academic All-League honor is voted on by a panel of sports information directors and faculty athletic representatives from the league's member institutions. The student-athletes were chosen for the honor based on their academic and athletic performances this past season.
