OMAHA, Neb. – Head coach Adam Summitt announced the signing of Brooke Covington to National Letters of Intent (NLI) today for the 2020-21 season.

"I am very excited to have Brooke coming to Omaha," said Summitt. "The recruitment was a bit different due to the changing landscape of college tennis and athletics."

Covington hails from Colleyville, Texas where she was a multi-time letterwinner at Colleyville Heritage High School under head coach Jeff Matlock. During her time, she was a multiple-time mixed doubles regional qualifier in District 5A. Covington also won four team district championships in her high school career.

"I was happy to be able to connect with her during this time," said Summitt. "She comes from a great academy and coached by a world class former player. I believe she has a high ceiling and can't wait to get her on campus."
