Saville Nets NCHC Weekly Honor Again

For the second time this season, Omaha's Isaiah Saville has been named the NCHC's Goalie of the Week.
The junior netminder from Anchorage, Alaska, made 40 saves over the weekend to help the Mavericks sweep Alaska at Baxter Arena and pick up the honor. He claimed the NCHC's first award two weeks ago.
Saville, who has won a career-best five consecutive games in net, stopped 21 shots on Friday in Omaha's 3-2 overtime over the Nanooks. He then made 19 saves as the Mavericks claimed the series finale 5-1.
For the season, Saville has a 1.81 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage.
This is the third time Saville has earned the weekly honor in his collegiate career. The first came during his freshman year in 2019-20. He was also named the NCHC's Rookie of the Week twice that season.
