Saville Named NCHC Goalie of the Week

Omaha's Isaiah Saville has been named the NCHC's first Goalie of the Week this season.
The junior netminder from Anchorage, Alaska, made 24 saves while posting his third career shutout Sunday as the Mavericks blanked Lake Superior State 3-0 in the finale of their season-opening series at Baxter Arena.
Saville was also in net for Saturday's opener, which the Lakers won 4-3 in overtime. On the weekend, he made 39 total saves and helped the Mavericks hold LSSU scoreless on nine power-play opportunities.
This is the second time Saville has earned the weekly honor. The first came in the third week of his college career in October of 2019. He was also named the NCHC's Rookie of the Week twice that season.
