Fifteen Mavericks Named 2020-21 Scholar Athletes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Fifteen Mavericks were named to the 2020-21 NFCA Scholar Athlete list, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
Student athletes are nominated by their head coaches and must earn a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for the academic school year.
Current Mavericks, Olivia Aden, Izzy Eltze, Sydney Hampton, Jaelle Johnson, Kamryn Meyer, Sydney Nuismer, Sydney Ross, Alexa Sedlak, and Lynsey Tucker were named to the list.
They are joined by former teammates Hailey Bartz, Janae Cameron, Emily Klosterman, Diana Murtha, Madie Otte, and Kaisha Wells.
As a team, Omaha sits tied 51st in the country with a cumulative GPA of 3.58 for the 2020-21 school year.
