Mavericks Head To Iowa City For NCAA Regionals

Omaha, Neb. - The Omaha cross country team heads to Iowa City, Iowa for the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships Friday, Nov 12.
The Maverick women will be running at 11 a.m. at the Ashton Cross Country Course in Iowa City.
Omaha's last race was at the Summit League Championships on Oct. 30 in Tulsa, Okla.
Maya Nachtigal's time was 23:04.20 in Tulsa as she led the Mavericks for the fifth time this season. The junior finished the Summit League Championships in 31st place.
Danielle Howard finished at 24:05.97 for 53rd place. Paige Blackford ran just behind Howard in 55th with a time of 24:29.73, and Madeline Yardley took 57th place with a time of 24:39.73.
Emily Robles ran a time of 25:19.03, in front of Joanna Topham who finished at 25:47.07.
The top two teams from the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships in Tallahassee, Fla. Saturday, Nov 20.
