Durr Signs with Omaha Softball

OMAHA, Neb. – Head softball coach Mike Heard has announced the signing of Emma Durr to the program. Durr will join the Mavericks in the fall for the 2023 season.
"Emma is an outstanding three-sport athlete that we are excited to get in our program," said coach Heard. "She has the versatility to play middle infield or outfield with a strong bat that can impact games. Emma has yet to see her full potential on the field, and we believe the bar for her is very high."
Durr is a three-sport athlete out of Eudora High School in Eudora, Kansas. She has lettered in volleyball, basketball, and softball over her tenure. Durr helped her team to regional championships as a freshman and junior. She looks to return to action this spring for her final season at Eudora.
"I chose Omaha because of the family-like atmosphere and the team culture," said Durr. "It was welcoming and encouraging. I can really see myself succeeding athletically and academically with the coaching staff and the professors. I am excited to be a part of a top-notch team that will give all the support needed to achieve my biggest goals."
