SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Summit League has announced the cancellation of Thursday's men's basketball contest between Omaha and Kansas City due to COVID-19 protocols as cases arise in the UMKC program.
The league has adjusted the forfeit policy announced prior to the season due to the rise in cases across the country. The games will now count as a no contest. Currently, the game is not scheduled to be made up at a later date.
Omaha will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 1 at Oral Roberts. Tipoff is 7 p.m. in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
