Limback Earns a Spot on The AVCA Midwest All-Region Team

OMAHA, Neb. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced Tuesday morning, Senior Sadie Limback was named to the AVCA All-Midwest Region Team.

Limback is the first Maverick in the Division I era to earn the honor two times after she was also selected to the team in 2020.

The senior finished the season as the Summit League Player of the Year and earned a spot on the Summit League All-Tournament team. In the 2021 season, Limback was named Summit League Offensive Player of the Week three times and also picked up her first career Defensive Player of the Week.

Limback recorded nine double-doubles on a .340 hitting percentage in her senior season. She racked up 415 kills, averaging 3.81 kills per set, after having 12 games tallying 15 or more kills. In her last year as a Maverick she also recorded a new career high tallying 21 digs in the regular season finale.
