Five Mavericks Garner All-Summit Recognition

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Five members of the Omaha baseball team received All-Summit League honors, the league office announced on Wednesday morning.
Mike Boeve was named All-Summit First Team while Keil Krumwiede, Chris Esposito, Masen Prososki and Eduardo Rosario were chosen to the All-Summit Second Team.
Boeve is ranked in the top ten among the Summit League in five statistical categories while leading the conference with 16 doubles. The freshman is second in the conference with a .322 batting average and sixth with 59 hits and a .407 on-base percentage. The Hastings, Neb., native sits ninth in the league with 34 runs scored on the season.
Krumwiede was named to the All-Summit Second Team for the second season in a row after finishing the regular season ranked eighth in the league with a .399 on-base percentage. The Glasgow, Mont., native concluded the regular season hitting .260 with six doubles, four homers and 28 RBI while scoring 20 runs.
Esposito is tied for the league leader with eight home runs and is second with three triples this season. The Overland Park, Kan., native is fourth in the conference with 37 RBI and a .526 slugging percentage. Esposito is also ranked in the top ten in three other categories, ninth with 34 runs and 10th with 47 hits and a .391 on-base percentage.
Prososki leads the Summit League with 20 stolen bases on the season and sits fourth with two triples and fifth with 40 runs in the conference. The senior has tallied 10 doubles, five home runs and 33 RBI on the year which ranks him seventh in all three categories. Prososki is eighth among the league leaders with a .465 slugging percentage.
Rosario is second in the conference with a .368 batting average in 30 games this season. The sophomore is also ranked second in the conference with a .484 on-base percentage and third with a .579 slugging percentage. Rosario reached base safely in 12 games this season while totaling four doubles, four home runs, 19 RBI and scoring 13 runs.
