Primeau Named NCHC Preseason All-Conference

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Chayse Primeau was tabbed NCHC Preseason All-Conference Tuesday afternoon, the league announced. Primeau received 13 points and was voted as a forward along with St. Cloud State's Veeti Mienttinen and Duluth's Noah Cates.
The all-conference team is voted on by 25 media members covering the NCHC participating programs.
Primeau returns for his senior campaign with the Mavericks. Last season, he was named NCHC All-Conference Second team. Primeau was tied as the team's leader with 23 points. He recorded nine goals and 14 assists on the year.
The senior forward tallied two assists in four different games last season helping Omaha to wins in all four. Primeau recorded three three-point games, including Omaha's 5-4 upset vs. North Dakota. He tallied one goal and two assists in the win.
In addition to Primeau, Isaiah Saville also received votes in the poll. He was the second highest vote-getter for goalkeepers in the league with eight votes.
