Kucharski Tabbed as Week 3 NCHC Goaltender of the Week

Senior netminder Jake Kucharski earns Week 3 NCHC Goaltender of the Week honors for his performance last weekend against Lake Superior State.
Kucharski went 1-0-1 against the Lakers with a .967 save percentage and a 0.54 GAA while stopping 29 of the 30 shots he faced in the series. The Erie, Pennsylvania native improved his season numbers to a 1.77 GAA, a .896 save percentage and registered his first win in a Mavericks sweater with Friday's victory.
The former AHA Goalie Champion grabs the first NCHC Goaltender of the Week award for the Mavericks since Isaiah Saville won his fifth, on January 3, 2022.
Kucharski and the Mavericks will look to defend home ice this weekend when they take on Alaska Fairbanks in a Friday/Sunday series at Baxter Arena.
