Elkhorn, Neb.- The Omaha women's golf team is in fifth place after the first two rounds of the Stampede at the Creek on Monday.

The Mavericks scored 307 in the first round as a team, adding another 307 in the second for a day-one total of 614.

Jinna Boonbumroongsuk shares fourth place after scoring 74(+2) in the first round and 73(+1) in the second. The sophomore takes a two-round total of 147 to the final round on Tuesday.

Mandi Granato scored 75(+3) in round one and 77(+5) in round two for a total of 152 on the day. The junior is in 12th place on the leaderboard.

Sydney Taake totaled 153 through the first two rounds. The freshman scored 77(+5) in the first round and 76(+4) in the second, good enough for a share of 13th place overall.

Mika Miyata shot matching scores of 81(+9) over two rounds. The sophomore ends the first day in a tie for 39th place with a score of 162.

Emma Kirvan and Izzi Puk scored 168 and 160, respectively. Kirvan scored 83 in the second round while Puk, golfing individually, scored 75(+3).

Cassidy Ulrich and Maddie Simon are both golfing individually. Through two rounds, Ulrich and Simon totaled 176 and 187, respectively.
