Meyer Dominates the Circle, Earns Pitcher of the Week

SIOUX Falls, S.D. - After another dominating pair of performances in the circle, Omaha softball's Kamryn Meyer is tabbed the Summit League TicketSmarter Pitcher of the Week. It is her fourth honor of the season.
Meyer earned two wins at St. Thomas and picked up another shutout for her ninth of the year. She posted a 0.64 ERA over 11 innings of work and compiled 26 strikeouts on the weekend.
In game one vs. the Tommies, Meyer gave up only two hits. She retired a career-high and a single-game program record 18 batters in seven innings.
Meyer recorded another eight strikeouts over four innings of work in game two helping the Mavericks to an 8-0 win. It marked her ninth shutout and Omaha's 12th of the season.
The Mavericks and Meyer will be back in action Tuesday night at Creighton. First pitch is 5 p.m. at the Creighton Sports Complex.
