Meyer, White Sweep Weekly Awards

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Kamryn Meyer and Jamie White sweep this week's Summit League weekly awards, the league announced Monday afternoon. Meyer was tabbed the Summit League TicketSmarter Pitcher of the Week, while White earned Summit League TicketSmarter Player of the Week accolades.
This marks Meyer's fifth honor of the season and second straight, and White picks up her second award of the season.
Meyer posted two wins and a save over the weekend at South Dakota. She recorded a .88 ERA and 38 strikeouts over 16 innings of work.
In game one, Meyer surpassed her career-high and broke the Omaha single-game strikeout record for the second weekend in a row with 19 retired batters. She then closed the final three innings of game two for her second save of the year. She retired another six Yotes in the game.
In game three, Meyer posted her 11th game with double-figure strikeouts. She struck out 13 in six innings earning her 16th win of the season.
Meyer became the program's Division I leader in single-season strikeouts. She is just 39 away from being the program's all-time single-season leader.
White hit .500 on the weekend with a 1.083 slugging percentage. She finished with six hits, including two homers and a double. White posted eight RBI and four runs scored.
In game three, White went 3 for 3 at the plate. She tallied three RBI and two runs scored. She went 2 for 4 with three RBI and tallied a homer in game one. She also hit a home run in game two.
White leads the Mavericks and is tied fifth in the Summit League with eight home runs on the year. Her 26 RBI also leads the team and ranks ninth in the conference.
