The Mavericks play their second of three games in their current homestand this Monday at 7:30 p.m. when they host York at Baxter Arena.

Scouting the York Panthers
The Panthers began conference play last week, starting things off with an 83-72 loss to Southwestern College (Kan.) before bouncing back and defeating Tabor 79-76 to move to 3-4 on the season.
Three Panthers currently have at least 90 points scored, led by junior forward Trevon Dennis at an even 100 (14.3 ppg). His .514 FG% and .412 3PT% are also tops on the team, as are his 10 steals. Senior guard Dwight Glover's 94 points (13.4 ppg) are right behind Dennis as he is the only other player on the team shooting above .500 on field goals at .508, as well as shooting .400 on three-pointers. Senior forward Much Biel rounds out the trio with 90 points (12.9 ppg) and also paces the team in rebounding (66 total, 9.4 rpg), assists (18, 2.6 apg), and blocks (seven, 1.0 bpg).
Head Coach Tree Burks played four years at York and topped 1000 career points. He later became an assistant coach and associate head coach with the team for four years, before eventually settling into the role a head coach.

The Mavericks are undefeated against York at 6-0, last facing each other back in Omaha's Division II days when they won 90-72 in 2009.

- The Mavericks opened their three-game homestand last week with a 76-59 victory over Mid-America Christian in the first ever meeting between the two teams.
- Omaha had its second best FG% of the season vs. MACU, shooting 48.1% (25-for-52) while posting its top 3-PT FG% yet at 47.6% (10-for-21). Six different Mavericks made at least one three-pointer in the game, JJ White and Grant Stubblefield each going a perfect 2-for-2.
- The game also marked the second time this year that Stubblefield scored double-digits, leading the team with 14 points after going 6-for-6 on field goals. He once again did most of his damage in the second half, scoring 11 and at one point making four field goals in under three and a half minutes.
- Frankie Fidler picked up his 150th career assist vs. MACU as he was tied with White for the team lead with three. He also reached 100 points on the season with 12 points, including seven from the charity stripe.
- Marquel Sutton had the 20th double-digit scoring game of his career on Wednesday, making a season-high five field goals for 13 points. He pulled down a season-high nine rebounds as well, just barely missing his second career double-double. Sutton became the first Maverick this year to have five offensive rebounds in a game, setting a new personal best.
- Jaeden Marshall had a new season best in points with 11 last week after shooting 4-for-8, including two from behind the arc.
- Overall, four Mavericks had 10+ points on Wednesday, doing so for the second time this season.
- 10 Mavericks scored at least one point vs. MACU, marking the second time this year that 10 players scored.
- As a team, Omaha had a season-high 42 rebounds against MACU, besting the team's previous best of 39 vs. Doane.
- Stubblefield, Marcel Bryant, Nick Davis, and Biko Johnson are Omaha's top newcomers coming into this season. • Stubblefield was named 6A Player of the Year and First Team All-State while at Blue Valley Northwest and Bryant was named the Austin Area Player of the Year at Cedar Ridge. Johnson is coming off his second season at Western Nebraska CC where he was named All-Conference and All-Nebraska, while Davis is fresh off winning GAC Defensive Player of the Year and a trip to the Sweet 16 of the Division II NCAA Tournament with Southern Nazarene.
- Fidler was Omaha's lone All-Summit honoree last season, earning an Honorable Mention. He led Omaha in scoring (14.7 ppg), rebounding (5.8 rpg), steals (1.2 spg), and free throw percentage (.887), with his FT% in particular ranking in the NCAA's top-25 for most of the season.
- Head Coach Chris Crutchfield has a 22-36 career record. It marks his third season as a head coach and second with the Mavericks.
