Emily Huss Wins Second Player of the Week Award

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - For the second time this season, rookie Emily Huss has been named TicketSmarter Summit League Defensive Peak Performer of the Week.
Huss led Omaha's defense in two crucial wins at Kansas City and St. Thomas on the road last week. Against the former, she recorded 10 total blocks, reaching double-digit blocks in a single match for the second time this season. She would get three more blocks on Saturday. Her 13 total blocks are the second most Huss has put up in a single week, second only to the 14 she had vs. Denver and North Dakota two weeks ago when she won her first defensive player of the week honor.
Huss is the first Maverick this season to earn at least two player of the week honors.
