
Mavericks Wrap Up Day One in Missouri

Ozark, Mo.-- The Omaha men's golf team finished the first round and part of the second round of the Missouri State Intercollegiate on Monday.
Play was halted with eight holes left to play in the second round for the Mavericks. Omaha tied for fifth place in the first round, scoring a team total of 290.
Connor Wilson and Kurtis Rodriguez scored even rounds of 71 in the first round. Wilson bogeyed just two holes en route to his seventh par-or-better round of the season. For Rodriguez, the score marks his sixth par-or-better round of the year.
Nolan Johnson recorded a 72 (+1) in the first round. Johnson played an even front nine and sank two birdies on the back nine.
Mathew Halvorson recorded a 76 (+5) and Atkinson scored a 92. Halvorson sank four birdies throughout the first round but withdrew in the second round.

Completion of the second round is scheduled to begin at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 21. The third round will begin immediately after the second.
