Mar 6, 2023 | Baseball
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Mike Boeve has been named the TicketSmarter Summit League Baseball Peak Performer of the Week.
Boeve did nothing but hit all week as Omaha went 2-2, notching a 7-6 win over Kansas State at home to begin the week, and ending with a 16-4 rout of BYU on Saturday. Across those four games, he went 8-for-12 with two doubles, seven RBIs, and scored eight runs, meaning that of the 38 runs Omaha scored last week, Boeve accounted for 15 of them. He also never struck out while simultaneously drawing six walks.Â
Boeve also extended his hitting streak to 11 games to start the season and increased his average to .487 and his OPS to 1.194. He also moved into a tie for fifth on Omaha's all-time doubles leaderboard with 45 in his career.Â
This is the fourth Summit League weekly honor of Boeve's career.Â
