Mavericks Welcome Goaltender Transfer Seth Eisele from Lake Superior State

The Omaha Mavericks Hockey program announced the arrival of goaltender transfer, Seth Eisele today. Eisele spent four seasons with the Lake Superior State Lakers before coming to Omaha to join the Mavericks for the 2023-24 season.
"I'm super excited to be coming to Omaha and very grateful the coaching staff gave me this opportunity," Eisele said. "I think that the NCHC is the best conference in college hockey and cannot wait to be playing against the best every weekend. This league produces pro players every year and that's been a big goal of mine right after winning a national championship."
Eisele, a 6'5 native of Lake Elmo, Minneosta has a career save percentage of .912 along with a 2.74 goals against average. In 2021-22, he made a career high 419 saves and backstopped the Lakers to eight victories. Eisele posted an 8-7-0 record in 21-22 and ranked fourth among CCHA goaltenders in save percentage (.911) and GAA (2.73). His 27.93 saves per game led all CCHA netminders. He made a career high 41 saves against No. 3 Michigan in his Junior campaign and was named CCHA Goaltender of the Week later on in the season. Eisele followed up his Junior season by posting a .913 save percentage and 2.86 GAA in 17 games played.
"I decided on Omaha because I loved the arena and atmosphere when I came here to play against the Mavericks my Junior year," Eisele said. "I can feel there is an amazing culture here and a great group of guys that are ready to win a lot of hockey games this year"
