Incoming Maverick Ludtke Invited to 2023 World Junior Summer Showcase

Incoming Maverick Tanner Ludtke has earned an invitation to this years USA Hockey World Junior Summer Showcase in Plymouth, Michigan.
The Summer Showcase which takes place July 27-August 4 assembles candidates for the 2024 U.S. National Junior Team. The week long camp will also include games against teams from Finland and Sweden.
Last season with the USHL's Lincoln Stars, Ludtke, younger brother of Omaha blueliner Griffin Ludtke, had 32 goals and 34 assists for 66 points in 57 games. That ranked second on the team in points and 8th in all of the USHL.
Ludtke also played a vital role in helping the Stars to a Western Conference Finals appearance last season. In nine playoff games, the Maverick newcomer tallied five goals and two assists.
Ludtke, a projected NHL Draft pick in this years draft, is set to join the Mavericks for his Freshman season in the upcoming 2023-24 campaign.
