Women's Basketball Releases Full 2023-24 Schedule

Omaha, Neb. – Head coach, Carrie Banks, of the Omaha women's basketball team officially released the full 2023-24 schedule on Sept. 7. The 29 game campaign features 18 Summit League conference match-ups and 11 contests against non-conference opponents.
The Mavericks will open their season in November and are slated for six contests in the opening month. Omaha will host Illinois State on Nov. 6 for their first competition of the year and College of St. Mary on Nov. 8. The Mavericks will then take the road to face Northwestern on Nov. 12. November will also bring a home game on Nov. 17 against Northern Colorado and a road contest at Wichita State on Nov. 20. Omaha will close out the month with one more home game on Nov. 27 against Cal State Bakersfield.
The month of December will hold five additional non-conference match-ups before the Maverick's first conference game against Denver. Opening the month, Omaha will host UIC on Dec. 1. Before returning back home again, the Mavericks are slated for a road trip to Western Illinois on Dec. 5. The team's last home game before conference play starts will be against Peru State on Dec. 10 in the SAPP Fieldhouse. The Mavericks then depart for a three game road stretch including Texas Southern on Dec. 18, TCU on Dec. 20 and Denver on Dec. 29. The last game of the month will be on New Year's Ever at home in Baxter against South Dakota.
To open the new year Omaha will travel to Eastern Washington for another non-conference contest on Jan. 3. The Mavericks will play their last non-conference match-up on Jan. 6 against Montana at Baxter Arena.
Omaha will dive into Summit League play on Jan. 11 for the rest of the 2023-24 schedule.
