ASHLAND, Neb. – Omaha cross country finished second overall out of six teams at the Platte River Rumble "Collegiate" held at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park in Ashland.
The Mavericks were able to place second with a team score of 55. Omaha was anchored by a first-place finish from junior Kamryn Ensley, who recorded a time of 22:02.59 in the women's 6000m event.
Freshman Carrington Hessen placed in the top 15 out of a pool of 89 competitors in Ashland today. Hessen finished the 6000m event with a time of 23:34.38.
