2025 softball schedule revealed

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha softball's 2025 schedule was revealed Thursday with the Mavericks commencing the campaign on Feb. 7.
Season tickets for home games at Connie Claussen Field are on-sale now at OMavs.com/Tix, single-game ticket information will be available in the coming weeks.
"We'll be excited to get started this year," said head coach Mike Heard. "I feel our pre-conference schedule should really challenge us and provide some opportunities to improve. With a lot of new players coming in this year and getting a couple of key players back from injury, it will be fun watching this group grow. Hopefully, it will help prepare us for an always tough conference schedule."
The Mavericks begin the 49-game slate with the UNI-Dome Tournament from Feb. 7-9, facing Loyola Chicago, Northern Iowa and Drake. Omaha then heads to Florida for the FGCU Invitational facing Wisconsin, Seton Hall and FGCU from Feb. 14-16 in Fort Meyers, Fla.
Beginning Feb. 21 and concluding on Feb. 23, Omaha softball will take part in five games hosted by UTSA where the Mavericks will face Michigan State, UTSA, Akron and Sam Houston State.
Heading west to California, Omaha will face Pitt, Loyola Marymount, Ca Poly, Long Beach State and Utah Tech in an event hosted by LBSU from Feb. 28-March 2.
Central Arkansas plays host to the final neutral-site event on the regular season docket with the Milisa Moore and Shane Lamb Tournament on March 7 and 8. Omaha will battle Illinois State and the Sugar Bears over the two-day festival.
Omaha will play a two-game series at Kansas at 5 p.m. CT on March 14 and 1 p.m. CT on March 15.
The 2024 Summit League champions begin their title defense with St. Thomas at Connie Claussen Field on March 22 (DH) and March 23. Following the first conference series of the campaign, Omaha plays host to the Nebraska Cornhuskers on March 26 at 5 p.m. CT.
Summit League action continues with a home series against North Dakota on March 29 (DH) and 30, followed by a visit downtown to Creighton on April 1. The Bluejays will visit Maverick Park on April 22 at 6 p.m. CT.
Omaha hits the road for a trio of conference series, at North Dakota State (April 5-6), at South Dakota State (April 12-13) and at Kansas City (April 26-27).
Heard's Mavericks will host South Dakota for Senior Weekend on April 18 and 19.
Omaha's regular season concludes with a trip to Madison, Wis. for a two-game set with the Badgers on May 1 and 2.
The 2025 Summit League Championship begins on May 7 and will be hosted by South Dakota State in Brookings.
