Nuismer Earns First Ever TicketSmarter Peak Pitcher of the Week Honors

Senior Pitcher Sydney Nuismer earns her first TicketSmarter Summit League Peak Pitcher of the Week honors after two back-to-back shutouts.
The Elkhorn native started the first two games of the Connie Claussen Classic where she would go on to pitch a combined 11 innings. Over the two games, she recorded four assists and threw nine strikeouts while only allowing one walk.
Nuismer recorded her first-ever no-hitter and the Maverick's first of the season during Sunday's 4-0 game against Rider. Nuismer recorded her seventh win after pitching a complete seven-inning game while only allowing two on base with one walk and one hit by a pitch.
On the season, the senior pitcher has recorded 14 strikeouts and notched a 2.70 ERA with the 274 batters faced.
