Cave Named to Summit League All-Honorable Mention Team

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Grace Cave earned her first career All-Conference accolade today when she was named to the Summit League All-Honorable Mention Team, as announced by the league Thursday afternoon.
Cave leads the Mavericks in points (335), PPG (12.4), assists (94), steals (41), and blocks (12). Cave has gone 79-of-96 on the free throw line, averaging .823, ranking her 85th across all D1 players.
Earlier this season against Peru St. Cave scored her first career double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Out of the 27 games played, the junior guard hit double-digits in 17.
Cave and the No. 9 Mavericks will take on the No. 8 Kansas City Roos tomorrow Friday, March 8 at 4:30 p.m. for the first round of the Summit League Tournament.
