Meyer Earns Third Straight Peak Performer of the Month Honors

Graduate senior Kamryn Meyer earned the May/June Summit League Peak Performer of the Month honors for the third month in a row after her performances at the conference tournament and NCAA Regionals.
Meyer posted a 6-2 record in nine appearances in May, earning three of those wins en route to earning Championship MVP honors at the Summit League Tournament and two more at the NCAA Columbia Regional where she led the Mavericks within a victory of the Super Regionals.
In her opening game at the Summit League Tournament, she tossed 14 scoreless innings and struck out a career-high 21 Roos in one of the best games in the history of the postseason event.
The Wilton, Iowa native struck out nine in the championship-clinching victory over South Dakota State, allowing only one run in seven innings of work against the Jackrabbits. She was crowned the Summit League Tournament MVP in back-to-back years.
At the Columbia Regional, she led Omaha to an upset over host and No. 7 national seed Missouri in the opening game. She limited the Tigers to four hits and struck out six over nine innings of work.
Meyer backed that up with a win over Washington in which she yielded only five hits and two runs to the Huskies as Omaha reached a regional final for the first time in program history. Meyer finished her decorated career as the Summit League's all-time strikeout leader with 1,029 and finished her final collegiate season with a 27-5 record and 1.62 ERA.
