Ross Named to CSC Academic All-America Team

Omaha Softball's Sydney Ross was named to the College Sports Communicator's Academic All-America Second Team, as announced on Tuesday morning.Ā
The graduate senior earned her spot on second team after completing her master's in public administration with a 4.00. Ross earned CSC Academic All-District honors in May and collected Summit League Second-Team honors.Ā
The fifth-year catcher posted a .325 batting average with 50 hits, 37 runs, and 37 RBIs. Behind the plate, she made 347 putouts with 28 assists and just two errors on the season for a .995 fielding percentage.Ā
