Omaha Softball Earns Schools First Ever DI-AAA ADA All-Sports Standings Trophy

The Omaha Softball team has received the DI-AAA ADA All-Sports Standings Trophy for the 2024 spring season. This is the first time an Omaha Athletic team has finished as the highest ranked I-AAA school for a respective sport.
Omaha Softball's historic campaign included the programs highest RPI ranking, back-to-back Summit League Championship titles, and the schools first ever Regional championship game appearance for any women's program. In the Columbia Regional, Omaha upset host school #7 Missouri and the University of Washington.
The Mavericks finished 43-15 overall setting a new program record for most wins in a season. In conference, Omaha went 14-4, finishing second. With 16 straight victories, the Mavericks had not only the program's longest but the nations longest win streak this season.
