Jurgensmeier named Summit League Offensive Peak Performer of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Omaha Volleyball senior Kali Jurgensmeier (Wahoo, Neb.) has been named the Kwik Star Summit League Offensive Peak Performer of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
Jurgensmeier earns this award off a week where she recorded 32 kills across two matches. At South Dakota (Nov. 6), she recorded a career-high 22 kills across four sets. Jurgensmeier hit the 1,000-kill milestone with her sixth kill in that match. Later in the week, Jurgensmeier led the Mavericks to a 3-0 win over Denver (Nov. 8) in her second to last home match at Baxter Arena.
The Mavericks are going on the road to face North Dakota on Thursday, Nov. 13 and North Dakota State on Saturday, Nov. 15. Omaha will return home for the final match of the regular-season on Tuesday, Nov. 18 when the squad faces Kansas City on Senior Night inside Baxter Arena.
