Omaha has been ranked in the D1Softball poll four times this season
OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha softball (29-9, 9-3 Summit) has been tabbed No. 24 in the week 10 D1Softball Mid-Major Rankings, it was revealed Wednesday.

The Mavericks have won nine straight contests dating back to March 30 vs. North Dakota and have won three of four Summit League series this season.
Currently sitting in first place in the conference, Omaha is the top-scoring team in the Summit League, averaging just shy of six runs a game, good for a top-70 mark in Division I.
Sophomore pitcher Maddia Groff boasts the nation's second-best strikeout-to-walk ratio at 12.64 and ranks in the top 10 in strikeouts (177). Her career ERA of 1.25 is the 14th best among all NCAA pitchers across the three divisions and is third among Division I arms.
The Mavericks return to Connie Claussen Field for the final homestand of the season, beginning Friday, April 18 with a doubleheader against South Dakota beginning at 2 p.m. CT as the Mavericks celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1975 AIAW National Championship. The series with the Coyotes concludes on Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. CT. Home action concludes on Tuesday, April 22 with a crosstown battle as Creighton visits the Mavericks at 6 p.m. All remaining home games will air on the Summit League Network.
