Omaha Hockey and WoodmenLife Join Forces for Military Appreciation Night

OMAHA – Omaha Hockey and WoodmenLife are again partnering to show appreciation for military personnel at the Mavericks' annual Military Appreciation Game against Augustana on Saturday, Oct. 17 at Baxter Arena on Kemp Ice.
Since 2018, Omaha Hockey and WoodmenLife have joined forces to show military appreciation.
The Mavericks will wear specialty camouflage jerseys purchased by WoodmenLife and auctioned off online. The auction will open for bidding on Friday, Oct. 16, at 12 p.m. CT and close on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 12 a.m. CT. The proceeds from the auction will be donated to the UNO Military-Connected Resource Center.

Prior to puck drop on Saturday at 6 p.m. CT, WoodmenLife will hand out handheld American flags for fans to wave during the game against Augustana. Members of the ROTC will also present a 30 by 60-foot American flag on ice during the national anthem, courtesy of WoodmenLife.
