Larson Leads the Pack, Mavs in First Following Day One of Fall Stampede at The Creek

OMAHA - Freshman Eden Larson shined in her first collegiate competition as the Lincoln, Nebraska, native leads the field at the Fall Stampede at The Creek. Omaha also leads the team race by 18 strokes at 23-over.
After shooting a 2-over 74 in the opening round, Larson responded with the low round of the day, firing a 2-under 70 in the second round to take a one-stroke lead heading into Tuesday.
Natalie Henson sits in solo fifth after back-to-back rounds of 76 (+4), while Kiara Montebon is also in the top 10 after shooting a 155 (+11) through the first two rounds.
Elynne Honnens and Sarah Lasso each shot a 156 (+12) to tie for 14th, while Zhana Navato rounded out the scoring with a 19-over 163.
The Mavs will look for the team title Tuesday, with play beginning at 9:30 a.m.
