Was named the Metro Coaches Association player of the year and was a first-team all-class, all-state pick...averaged 20.2 points and 8 rebounds under Coach Larry Ribble at Millard South High School in Omaha...a McDonald’s All-American nominee...all-state academic team selection and a Greater Omaha Scholar Athlete...set single season scoring record for Millard South with 464 points...shot 77 per cent from the line and 61 per cent from the field...had a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA for four years.

Born December 13, 1982 in Omaha, the son of David and Barb Curtis...has two brothers, Matt and Justin...majoring in architectural engineering and would like to someday own his own A-E firm...enjoys playing the guitar, ping pong and listening to music.

“Ryan is a very skilled player, but he needs to fill out and gain some strength. He’s a very smart basketball player who runs the floor very well. Ryan will be working hard this season in the weightroom and practicing daily in preparation for next season.”
